Paul McCartney's fun selfie video
The former Beatle shares unique view from 2025 Got Back concert tour
Fans all over the US and parts of Canada are currently enjoying Paul McCartney’s live concerts during his current Got Back tour. I hope you’re one of them! But if not, at least the videos circulating on social media give us all a glimpse of his shows. But what’s even more fun are Paul’s offstage videos that he does once in a while.
On October 22, 2025, Paul posted a selfie video as he made a random stop on the side of a highway in Tulsa, Oklahoma by the Arkansas river. Fans loved this video as evident by the number of views - currently 483,000 views on Instagram and 1.2 million views on TikTok. These videos got triple or quadruple the number of views compared to most of his other videos. It’s safe to say, the verdict is in - we want more videos of Paul just being Paul!
It is such a simple video, but it gives a glimpse at the mind of a creative artist. They notice things that most of us do not. They see beauty in things that most of us probably would not. For example, he points out the graffiti on the wall under a bridge.
Here we see a clue to The Beatles amazing success! Four creative geniuses that often saw a different view of the world and interpreted it through their songs.
Take a look:
And not only that, there have been multiple videos of fans waiting in the hotel lobby for Paul to get a glimpse of him leaving the next morning after his concert. It is the most heartwarming thing to see, as everyone respectfully stands in awe as they applaud the 83-year-old legend.

What if John, Paul, George and Ringo had Instagram back in the 1960s during the peak of The Beatles’ fame? Can you imagine the creative photos and videos they would have posted?
Luckily, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr have both published photography books sharing photos they took during Beatlemania and beyond. And the George Harrison estate will soon release one.
Beatles book news
The new photography book called The Third Eye will be released in the Fall of 2026. It will feature over 250 color and black and white photos taken by George during The Beatle years. The book will be curated by his widow, Olivia Harrison.
“I want to show people, from George’s unique photographic perspective during the Beatles’ early years, the moments when the whole of your life is ahead of you with unknowable possibilities,” she said, as quoted in People. “His images in The Third Eye capture that spirit.”
